Easter Monday 5th April - Mells Daffodil Festival, New Street, Mells, Somerset, open to the public from 11.00am. Lots of events, see website for full details http://www.mellsdaffodilfestival.co.uk

Sunday May 9th - The Great Longleat Pawtrek, 2 miles sponsored dog walk for Guide Dogs , through Longleat's grounds, you can join the trek at 10 a.m. and last lap is at 4 p.m.
GLWR will have a stand featuring the usual attractions, Rosie, Rudi and other hounds, Tombola and various good quality items for sale! Other events, Dog Agility Demonstrations, Crafts and Food Stalls etc etc
Saturday 22nd May - GLWR ANNUAL REUNION 2010. We are very excited to announce that we are holding our Annual Reunion and Fun Dog Show at The Peterborough Arms, Dauntsey Lock, near Lyneham in Wiltshire. We are hoping to have a variety of stalls so anyone who would like to set one up for a small donation to GLWR please get in touch. Tickets will be £7.50 for adults and £4.00 for children aged 12 and under, to include a finger buffet. We also need volunteers for the day to help set up and run stalls More details to follow.
Saturday May 22nd - Chippenham Street Collection - this clashes with the Annual Re-union - but we can't let our fans down and maybe you can do both!! Outside Emery Gate Shopping Centre, Chippenham from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Sunday June 13th - Warminster Fun Day In The Park on Sunday 13th June from 12 noon until 6 p.m.There will be various stalls and a raft race on the lake, The Scarecrow Trail, Carnival Prince/Princess/Baby Competitions, Childrens Rides, Dance Displays, Karate Display, Face Painting and the main event of course will be the GLWR stand and Sponsor Dog Extraordinaire, Gorgeous homed dogs, Tombola and goodies for sale.
Saturday June 26th - Trowbridge Park, Trowbridge - Armed Forces Veterans Celebrations, a big busy show, GLWR stand with lots of goods for sale, Tombola and of course our trusty, friendly greyhounds and lurchers
Saturday 7th August - 750th Annual Nunney Street Market and Fayre, Nunney, Nr. Frome, Somerset.
From the Friends of Nunney Facebook page: "2010 is the 750th anniversary of the granting of a market charter to Nunney, so will be a big year for the Nunney Street Fayre. If last year's Fayre was anything to go by, this is definitely a date for your diary! Stalls throughout the village centre will offer plants, art and collectables, while food, drinks and live entertainment are available all day."

Bank Holiday Monday 30th August - The Corsley Show, on the A362 between Warminster and Frome, see www.corsleyshow.org.uk for full details of this big event with lots of attractions. GLWR stand with usual Tombola, goods for sale and gorgeous hounds!! We'll be there all day.
Saturday 11th September - Meet and Greet at Pets at Home, Swindon, St Margarets Retail Park, Oxford Road SN3 4ES. Approx. 10.00 am - 2.00pm. Come and say hello to Bruce the lurcher and friends.
Sunday 12th September - Creech Grange Sunday Funday, 10.00am to 4.00pm, Creech Grange, Wareham. GLWR stand, dog show, Liberties birds of prey, Dorset police dog display, Army display, adult volleyball competition, classic cars showcase, music and much, much more. No admission fee.
